Spearheaded by research and consulting group AMR (Advanced Manufacturing Research) and a group of manufacturers, the Supply-Chain Council has developed a generic work-in-progress supply-chain model, called the Supply Chain Operations Reference model (SCOR) that is used by council members in different industries. Council members trade supply chain war stories and decide how to modify SCOR as they go.

APICS focuses on 'resource management,' including ERP and supply chain. Supply Chain Council
